Training methods vary depending on the owner's past experience; the age of the dog and what training is required e.g. obedience training or training for fun (tricks).

Training can be done by all the family, including the children. It's a great way of strengthening the bond between owner and their best friend. It's not only dogs that can be trained - why not try training your cat to do some tricks too!

All training methods used are positive ones, meaning no more choke chains and shouting. Training with Clever Clogs is all about showing the dog what he is doing right by rewarding good behaviour. Clicker training is great for people that want to teach their dogs tricks and intend on doing a lot of training in the future. However it is not usually recommended for basic dog training.
